LYONS MAGNUS EXPANDS VOLUNTARY RECALL OF LIMITED SWEETIE PIE ORGANICS LACTATION SMOOTHIES
Lyons Magnus, our third-party Smoothie manufacturer, in cooperation with the FDA, announced a voluntary recall on August 10, 2022, of over 50 different brands of products including specific lot codes of Sweetie Pie Organics Lactation Smoothies. According to Lyons Magnus: “The recall is being conducted due to the potential for microbial contamination, including from the organisms Cronobacter sakazakii and Clostridium botulinum.” Although Clostridium botulinum has not been found in products produced by Lyons Magnus to date, consumers are advised to dispose of any recalled products, even if they do not look or smell spoiled. The following Sweetie Pie Organics Lactation Smoothies are subject to the recall.
You may have purchased your Smoothies as individual cartons, as a four-pack of cartons, or as a case of twelve cartons.
Only certain Sweetie Pie Organics Lactation Smoothies, sold after August 20, 2021, are subject to the recall and are identifiable by the Lot Code imprinted on the product. To determine whether your Smoothies are subject to the recall, please locate the Lot Code as follows:
For individual cartons, the Lot Code is imprinted on the top of the carton and for four-pack units the Lot Code is also imprinted in the corner of the top of the wrapper. The Lot Code is the first four-digit number following the Best By date (e.g., 0531, or 4921 in these photos).
For twelve-pack cases, the Lot Code is also imprinted on the side of the box.

If a consumer is in possession of any product with one of these Lot Codes, they should dispose of the product or return it to the retailer from where they bought it and request a refund.

No other Sweetie Pie Organics Lactation Smoothies, Lactation Bars, nor the Sweetie Pie Organics Nausea Relief Drops are included in this recall.
